For more than 45 years, the International Irradiation Association (iia) (formerly the Aiii) has been an active promoter of the safe and beneficial use of irradiation, representing the interests of industry members and working to enlighten the public and regulators about the advantages of irradiation technologies such as gamma, e-beam and x-ray.
