Technical Exchange on Gamma Irradiator Security and Alternative Technologies

The iia is pleased to support this Technical Exchange being hosted by its member Irradiation Industries Association of India (IIAI) and the World Institute for Nuclear Security (WINS). This meeting will be held immediately after the NICSTAR-2026 conference at the Westin Convention Centre, Powai, Mumbai, India.
India has a vibrant gamma irradiation industry with a long history of providing important and beneficial irradiation applications. Gamma irradiation is a dominant technology in India, so managing security and understanding alternative technologies are important to the long-term success of the industry. During this meeting, Indian and international experts will share their experience, discuss lessons learned and participate in Q&A and panel discussions.
This free of charge event is open to all operators and suppliers of irradiators, users of radioactive material, regulators and anyone with an interest or responsibilities for security of gamma irradiation facilities and the use of other technologies such as electron-beam.
