French journal special issue on radiation chemistry

The March-April 2021 issue of the Journal of the French Society of Chemistry “L’Actualité Chimique” is dedicated to radiation chemistry.

The guest editors, Chantal Houée-Levin, Professor Emeritus of Paris Saclay University, and Gérard Baldacchino, CEA research engineer and President of the “Chemistry under radiation and radiochemistry” Society subdivision announced the creation of a Marie Skłodowska- Curie Dissertation Prize.

The issue gives an overview of French research in sectors as diverse as the environment, nuclear industry, biology and others. One of the articles describes courses offered in French schools and universities.

All articles but three are in French, one of articles in English is The HO• radical: friend or foe? by Raluca Musat , Anouchka Gatin , and Cécile Sicard-Roselli.
