Bruce Power Completes Largest Delivery of Cobalt-60

Bruce Power, a member of iia, has completed delivery of the company’s largest ever harvest of cobalt-60 to Nordion.  The harvest from Bruce Power’s Unit 8 was completed during planned maintenance of the reactor as part of Bruce’s Life-Extension Program and Major Component Replacement project.  This program will add approximately 30-35 years of operational life and cobalt-60 production.
