Risø Course on Validation and Process Control for Electron Beam Sterilization (1)

Risø High Dose Reference Laboratory, operating within the Technical University of Denmark (DTU), is hosting courses providing background for understanding and implementing the requirements of EN ISO 11137. The first run of the course is to be held 28 April – 2 May 2025, and the second is to be held 8 – 12 September 2025. The courses will be held at Risø High Dose Reference Laboratory, on the Risø Campus of DTU.

The emphasis of this course is on high energy (10 MeV) electron beam sterilisation, but aspects of gamma sterilization and low energy (100-200 keV) electron beam irradiation will also be addressed.
