STERIS announce new X-ray capacity in Europe

Increased demand in medical device manufacturing has accelerated the STERIS plans for expansion globally.  In February 2023, STERIS announced further investment in radiation processing as part of their long term commitment in support of this manufacturing.  Both announcements are an expansion of X-ray capacity that will complement their existing facilities and technologies in Europe.

STERIS had previously announced plans to construct a new X-ray radiation processing facility in Germany.  It is now confirmed that this will be located in Höchstadt, Germany.

STERIS has also announced the expansion of its existing Venlo site to include a second X-ray processing line.
