PUFFIn eBeam Dose Distribution Workshop to Be Held at Texas A&M, June 2026
The National Center for Electron Beam Research (Texas A&M University) will be hosting a PUFFIn eBeam Dose Distribution Software workshop 9 – 12 June, 2026.
This 3.5-day workshop provides hands-on training in dosimetry measurements and computer simulation of dose distribution in medical products using PUFFIn software.
Participants will explore how radiation type, energy, and product or packaging design affect dose distribution; compare results across cobalt-60 gamma, electron beam, and X-ray irradiation; and identify optimal dosimetry locations based on maximum and minimum dose ratios.
To learn more about PUFFIn, you can read this summary of the code or watch z recording of our previous webinar on virtual dose mapping.
