First Look at the IMRP 2024 Program
IMRP 2024 | 4 – 8 November 2024 | Costa Rica
An outline of the IMRP 2024 Program is now available at this link. Created by the IMRP 2024 Program Committee, the program features presentations selected from the Call for Abstracts, ensuring a diverse range of topics in a dynamic conference setting. The theme of IMRP 2024 ‘Irradiation Technologies – Available, Sustainable and Growing’ will be highlighted throughout the event.
Day 1 – Monday: The focus will be the Business of Radiation Processing, including plenary sessions, a welcome reception and plenty of networking opportunities.
Day 2 – Tuesday: This day will concentrate on the Applications of Irradiation. Parallel sessions will cover Radiation Sterilisation and Phytosanitary Irradiation. The schedule also includes Technical Theatre presentations and exhibition opportunities.
Day 3 – Wednesday: Dedicated to Sustainability, Science and Innovation, the morning sessions will feature a Key Note, a Round Table and presentations on sustainability. The afternoon will include additional Technical Theatre presentations and a poster session, with a spotlight on the best posters and audience voting for the best abstract.
Day 4 – Thursday: The agenda will cover Education, Leadership Development, and Regulation, followed by the Awards ceremony and the conference closing. The iia General Assembly will also take place, discussing recent developments and activities. The day will then conclude with the Gala dinner, providing a great opportunity to reflect on the conference and engage with colleagues.
Day 5 – Friday: The final day is reserved for Technical Tours, available to those who register in advance. Delegates can choose between a Sterigenics EO Facility Tour or a STERIS AST E-beam and EO Facility Tour.
