‘Comprehensive Generic Doses for Phytosanitary Irradiation’ Webinar Recording

The Phytosanitary Irradiation Platform (PsIP) hosted the third event in their recent series of webinars discussing phytosanitary irradiation in relation to fruit quality. Hosted 30 May 2024, their latest webinar ‘Comprehensive Generic Doses for Phytosanitary Irradiation’ included a presentation by Dr. Peter Follet. Peter is an internationally recognised expert in post-harvest entomology and quarantine treatment development, currently working as a Research Entomologist for US Department of Agriculture (USDA) Agricultural Research Service (ARS) in Hawaii.

In this webinar Dr. Follett, explained the concept of generic doses and their necessity, detailed the process of developing a generic dose, and discussed how generic doses can shape and enhance the future of phytosanitary irradiation.
