Announcing the ‘International Nuclear Technology Applications Conference’ and the ‘iia Roadshow’ in China

Hosted by the China Isotope & Radiation Association (CIRA), April 2026, China

The iia is pleased to announce that it is co-organiser of the International Nuclear Technology Applications Conference (INTAC) to be hosted in China from 23-25 April 2026.

Additionally, the iia will he holding the ‘iia Roadshow’ for its members at the conference venue on 22 April 2026.

About the International Nuclear Technology Applications Conference (INTAC)

This is the 3rd international meeting of its kind hosted by CIRA and it follows the success of the previous event held in October 2023 that was attended by over 400 people with an interest in nuclear technology applications.

INTAC will be the most important meeting in China for the radiation processing industry. CIRA is working with the iia to bring a focus on irradiation applications and technologies and to make this a truly international event.

The formal meeting will comprise of two days of industry plenary and technical sessions followed by a one-day site visit. There will also be an industry exhibition and opportunities to network with the irradiation community.

The event location is not ready to be announced yet but we hope that you will save this date for participation in INTAC. A link to your invitation from CIRA is attached and the iia will share updates as these become available.

About the ‘iia Roadshow’ at INTAC

The iia will be hosting this full day event for its members on 22 April 2026, the day before INTAC. The key objective of the iia Roadshow is to give iia member organisations an opportunity to engage with the audience in China through presentations and discussion. We plan two types of presentation, some will be purely promotional and others will share information on radiation processing topics that have been determined as of interest to the Chinese audience.

Participation is invited by all iia member organisations globally, including those located in China.

Further information about the ‘iia Roadshow’ will be shared soon. To express your interest in this event, please contact Martin Comben at mcomben@iiaglobal.com.
