INTAC 2026 & the ‘iia Roadshow’

21 – 23 April 2026, Beijing, China

The iia is pleased to be supporting INTAC 2026 and bringing the ‘iia Roadshow’ to Beijing, China

The 3rd International Conference on the Development of Nuclear Technology Applications Industry (INTAC 2026) is hosted by China Isotope & Radiation Association (CIRA). INTAC 2026 will be held in Beijing on 21 and 22 April 2026 and will be followed by the ‘iia Roadshow’ on 23 April 2026.

About INTAC 2026 – 21 & 22 April 2026

This is the 3rd international meeting of its kind hosted by CIRA and it follows the success of the previous event held in October 2023 that was attended by over 400 people with an interest in nuclear technology applications.

The iia is working with CIRA to bring a focus on irradiation applications and technologies and to make this a truly international event. The aim of iia and CIRA is to make INTAC the leading event in Asia for the radiation processing community.

The first day of INTAC 2026 (21 April 2026) will include keynote presentations and panel discussions about global developments and trends, innovation and cooperation.

The second day of INTAC 2026 (22 April 2026) will be made up of parallel sessions. One full day parallel session will be dedicated to radiation processing.

Please see the following announcements made by CIRA:

About the ‘iia Roadshow’ – 23 April 2026

The iia is excited to host the ‘iia Roadshow’ directly after INTAC 2026. This event will bring additional focus to radiation processing and give members of iia a platform to engage with the audience that is also attending INTAC.

The ‘iia Roadshow’ will be a full day free of charge event including presentations by iia members and panel discussions about important irradiation topics. The day will be designed to facilitate Q&A and networking.

The ‘iia Roadshow’ is being hosted by iia in collaboration with CIRA, the key association in China responsible for promoting and supporting development of the irradiation industry.

INTAC 2026 and ‘iia Roadshow’ Programmes

The iia is responsible for building the programme for both the radiation processing session of INTAC 2026 and for the ‘iia Roadshow’.

We expect the programme of both events to cover: gamma, e-beam and X-ray technologies; healthcare, food/phytosanitary and environmental applications; dosimetry and modelling; regulation and standards; and market updates.

The iia is developing the programmes now and we encourage iia members to put forward their presentation titles for either or both INTAC and the ‘iia Roadshow’.

Presentations at the ‘iia Roadshow’ may be more commercial but must share substantive content of value to the radiation processing community.

Please submit your presentation titles by 28th February 2026 to Martin Comben (mcomben@iiaglobal.com). Martin will respond promptly to your submissions.

The detailed programme for both events will be published in mid-March 2026

For further information please contact Martin Comben (mcomben@iiaglobal.com).
