Radiation Dosimetry Now and in the Future – iia Webinar
Join the iia for our upcoming webinar discussing current practices and future innovations in radiation processing dosimetry.
đź“… Wednesday 24th September, 2025
đź•’ 3pm – 4pm BST (4pm CEST, 9am CDT, 7am PDT)
âś… Registration available here
Topics for this webinar will include an overview of chemical, optical, and physical dosimetry systems, their applications, limitations, and key selection factors; the challenges of dosimetry in low-energy electron beam and X-ray applications; and emerging trends such as electron beam adoption, advanced training needs, Release Based on Irradiator Parameters (RBIP), and “e-dosimetry” via Monte Carlo modeling. The session will also introduce single-molecule dosimetry techniques that directly measure DNA damage, which can bridge between physical dosimetry and biological testing.
This webinar will include a Q&A session, and will be recorded for later viewing on the iia website.
