The objective of the International Conference on Ionizing Processes (ICIP) is to provide a platform for the exchange of new ideas and discoveries in radiation sciences as it pertains to physics, chemistry, and biology, and to facilitate translating that knowledge to industry and other application spaces. By focusing on bridging the gap between laboratory experiments and industrial scale applications, this conference fills a crucial role in ensuring progress is continuing to be made for both fundamental and applied radiation science and that the two continue to be mutually beneficial to one another.
Prior to the start of the conference, there will be an Early Career Workshop. The workshop will be focused on networking and career path opportunities for early career researchers, predominantly graduate students, postdoctoral scholars, and recent graduates.

iia Supports ICIP
The iia is pleased to be supporting the programme for ICIP, helping to bridge the gap between academia and industry and provide a forum for students to discover the opportunities within the radiation processing industry.
The iia will first participate in the Early Career Workshop, introducing students and early career professionals to the radiation processing industry. The session will outline the range of opportunities in the industry and provide practical insight into roles, skills, and applications.
The iia contribution to the wider conference programme will bring together researchers, industry, and government representatives to share more detailed understanding of the radiation processing industry, including scientific advances, regulatory and technical issues, emerging technologies, and opportunities to align research with industrial and environmental applications. It will also include panel discussions focused on opening dialogue and strengthening collaboration between academia and industry.
The iia is pleased to contribute to this event and support efforts to connect research with industrial application.
