Professor Zhu Nankang 1944 – 2023

It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Professor Zhu Nankang, who passed away 25^th December 2023.

Professor Zhu was the director of the Institute of Radiation Technique Soochow, and recently supported the business operations of the Jiangsu Dasheng Rhodotron EB Application centre. Previous to this, he was the director of the China National Nuclear Corporation (CNNC).  He was a renowned figure in China’s radiation processing industry, with a history of outstanding work including 11 patents and over 40 published papers. We thank Professor Zhu for his contributions to the industry, he will be greatly missed by his friends and colleagues.
