The International Irradiation Association (iia) is pleased to invite you to participate in the next The Science and Engineering of Radiation Processing (SERP) meeting.

SERP meetings are designed to create a platform for dialogue between academia and industry. Each meeting includes two short presentations, one from academia and one from industry, followed by a moderated discussion, allowing for all participants to discuss the latest challenges, opportunities, and innovations in our field.

Presentations scheduled for this meeting:

• Spencer Mickum, STERIS: A report on the recent Scientific Exchange on Modeling and Simulation for Radiation Sterilization
• Ileana Pazos, NIST: Discussing Biodosimetry for Radiation Processing

This is a networking opportunity – not just of people, but of ideas.

Interested in presenting?

We are seeking presenters for future SERP meetings from industry and academia. Presentations should be short (5 minutes in length) and highlight emerging challenges or new developments in irradiation.

• From Academia: What are you working on? Who should know about it? What are the potential applications?

• From Industry: What challenges need research attention? What capabilities or innovations do you wish were available?
