The potential of virtual dose mapping is becoming increasingly clear to the radiation processing industry. The technology has the possibility of saving time and cost by helping to optimise product, packaging, processing and facility design whilst potentially eliminating the uncertainties associated with physical dosimetry systems.

Three organisations that use Monte Carlo methods to provide a precise prediction of radiation dose are leading the development and introduction of virtual dose mapping for use in radiation processing. Their technologies can all serve gamma, electron-beam and X-ray irradiation, but their offerings all have a different focus.

This webinar brings these three leading product and service providers together and will highlight the key features and provide a comparison of Dose Insight, PUFFIn and RayXpert.

Presenters:

  • Tobias Funk, PhD – Founder, Dose Insight
  • Randy Schwarz – Nuclear Engineer, Pacific Northwest National Laboratory
  • Antoine Ghilardi – Business Engineer, TRAD for RayXpert software

Please take a few minutes to complete our survey about Virtual Dose Mapping (VDM). Your feedback will be shared with the presenters of this webinar and will be used to help guide the development of this important technology.
