This webinar will explore how radiation sterilization methods impact packaging integrity and material performance. It will cover the effects of radiation on common packaging materials, including chemical changes and safety implications, and emphasise the importance of aligning with regulatory standards (USP, ISO). The webinar will also discuss key analytical strategies like extractables/leachables profiling, and how tools like Virtual Dose Mapping (VDM) and advanced modeling of real-world conditions can optimise packaging design and ensure regulatory readiness.
This webinar will include a Q&A session, and will be recorded for later viewing on the iia website.
