
iia to contribute to the Miller Conference
The 33rd Miller Conference on Radiation Chemistry will bring together top scientists in radiation chemistry to discuss recent advancements across various fields, including materials synthesis, energy, environmental applications, and medicine. The conference is to be held 5 – 10 October 2025 in Dubrovnik, Croatia, and will include a workshop for Early Career Scientists, lectures, a tour, and networking opportunities.
The iia has financially supported this conference to cover the cost of 6 student registration fees. Participation of students and young scientists remains a tradition of the Miller conference.
Martin Comben, iia General Manager – Gamma Irradiation, will present on ‘The development, status and future of radiation processing’. This presentation will summarise how the radiation processing industry has evolved, update on recent technology innovations, and highlight the priorities and future direction of irradiation.
