iia participates in 2025 International Conference on Nuclear Technology Application

The 2025 International Conference on Nuclear Technology Application was held on 15–16 October 2025 in Chengdu, China, organized by the China Nuclear Energy Association (CNEA). The event brought together over 600 delegates from 16 countries to discuss advancements and collaboration in the field of nuclear technology.

Paul Wynne, Chairman of the International Irradiation Association (iia), was invited to deliver a video keynote address during the plenary session, titled “The Development and Trends of the International Irradiation Industry.” His presentation reviewed more than 45 years of progress in the global irradiation industry, highlighting key milestones, impacts, and lessons learned. Wei Peng, iia’s China/Asia Representative, gave an oral presentation titled “Global Radiation Industry Market, Technology, and Applications” in the session on Nuclear Technology Empowering Industrial Development.
