iia Board Appointment

The iia is pleased to announce that Yves Henon has been appointed to the board. Yves has been a leading member of the irradiation community for over 40 and is an international expert in food irradiation. He started his career by working for the French Atomic Energy Commission before joining Gammaster, subsequently Isotron, and working as an independent consultant.

A few years ago Yves spent several years working for the Joint FAO-IAEA Division of the International Atomic Energy Agency. He has worked in both Europe and Asia and has been a member of the iia team since 2008 where he has been the Chair of several IMRP Program Committees and was made an Laureate at IMRP 19 Strasbourg.
