IBA Contracted to Install ‘Be-Efficient’ Irradiation Solution in Germany

IBA Industrial Solutions, member of the iia, has signed a contract to install its Be-Efficient electron beam irradiation solution in Germany. The contract, announced on March 19, 2024, includes two Rhodotron® accelerators along with supporting systems for polymer crosslinking applications. Typically priced between EUR 11 million to EUR 18 million, this solution offers versatility whilst being ecofriendly.

Thomas Servais, President of IBA, highlighted the environmental benefits of electron beam irradiation, emphasizing its safety and sustainability. This move underscores IBA’s commitment to delivering cutting-edge technology for sustainable manufacturing practices globally.
