HEALTHiiaR announces work streams

HEALTHiiaR is the iia collaboration community dedicated to advancing the use of radiation technologies in the Pharmaceutical and Biopharmaceutical industries.

The steering committee is represented by industry leaders from Johnson & Johnson, GSK, Pfizer, AbbVie, Abbott, Genentech, Roche, Cytiva, Sterigenics, Meissner, ValSource Inc. and STERIS.

The work streams that have been identified by the steering committee are:

• Adjunct Processing + (AP+): using the appropriate radiation dose based on the manufacturing quality of the product or Components
• Radiopharmaceuticals: Production, handling, safety and testing of radioisotopes
• Safety Assurance: Establishing a mechanism for defining patient risk of radiation sterilized product
• Annex 12 Updates: Drive the recommended updates to current requirements
