Ariadnne Vargas Rivadeneira joins the iia team

The iia is pleased  to announce that Ariadnne Vargas Rivadeneira has joined the iia team. Ariadnne is a chemical engineer with a specialization in nuclear energy technology applications, living in La Paz, Bolivia.  Most recently, Ariadnne was Head of Industrial Applications Unit at ABEN where she was responsible for the development of Bolivia’s multipurpose irradiation centre.  She has a detailed knowledge of the irradiation market in South America, has completed projects with the IAEA in Vienna and with academic institutes in Poland. An area of particular interest and knowledge for Ariadnne is food irradiation.

The addition of Ariadnne will strengthen the iia team, its geographic reach and knowledge. Ariadnne will become involved in a number of iia initiatives and will contribute to meetings and events on behalf of iia.
