CGN Dasheng Delivers First Electron Accelerator to the EU in Collaboration with INCT
On October 17th 2025, in Warsaw Poland, iia members CGN Dasheng and the Institute of Nuclear Chemistry and Technology (INCT) celebrated the successful delivery of CGN Dasheng’s first electron accelerator to the European Union.
The “E-beam + X-ray dual-function linear accelerator,” developed by CGN Dasheng, was installed at INCT’s facilities in Poland. This milestone marks the company’s first EU export of accelerator technology and represents the advancement of international collaboration in radiation processing.
INCT, a research institute and IAEA Collaborating Centre, will use the system for nuclear science research and industrial applications, including medical sterilization, food preservation, and advanced material production.
The delivery followed close technical cooperation between the two organizations to meet stringent EU standards. The achievement highlights both companies’ shared commitment to innovation and international partnership within the irradiation community.
