The 6th edition of the ‘Excellence in Sterilizing Medical Devices’ meeting will bring together experts to explore key regulatory, technological, and industry trends shaping U.S. sterilization practices in 2025. This event will offer insights into emerging sterilization methods, the transition from EtO to alternative modalities, and strategies for compliance and validation.
Highlights include sessions on process validation, material compatibility, supply chain resilience, and risk-based sterility assurance. There will also be expert-led case studies, roundtables, and panel discussions focused on enhancing efficiency and aligning with evolving global standards.
Thomas Kroc, iia’s US Representative, will speak on “Informed decision-making for in-house vs contract sterilization”. Additionly, he will paticipate in the Sterilization Innovation panel discussion, and will lead the “Supply chains switches in 2025: What does a good transition look like?” roundtable discussion.
