iia to Present at NNSA-Hosted Side Event During IAEA Accelerator Conference
The iia will present at a side event hosted by the US DOE National Nuclear Security Administration (NNSA) at the IAEA Second International Conference on Accelerators for Research and Innovation on 25 June 2026 in Vienna, Austria.
The event titled ‘Industry Advancements and Today’s Capabilities in Electron Beam Technologies’ will showcase U.S. industry advancements in eBeam manufacturing, ways in which U.S. national laboratory expertise can help industry close existing gaps, and highlight successful partnership case studies with IAEA Member States.
Thomas Kroc, iia US Representative, will speak on Important and Beneficial Developments in the Application of Accelerator Technology and will include highlighting the advantage in energy consumption that ebeam has over moist heat and ethylene oxide.
The conference supports key IAEA flagship initiatives and other priority areas such as Atoms4Food, Atoms4NetZero, NUTEC Plastics, Rays of Hope, ZODIAC, and Atoms for Heritage.
