BGS US Facility Now Operational

July 30, 2025, marks the official start of operations at BGS Beta-Gamma-Service’s first Electron Beam (E-Beam) facility in the United States, located in Imperial, Pennsylvania.

The 100,000-square-foot facility will deliver fully automated E-Beam irradiation services for sterilization of medical devices, pharmaceutical packaging and biotechnology products. Completed in just over 12 months, the facility has received ISO 13485 and ISO 9001 certifications, along with confirmation of compliance with ISO 11137 – ensuring alignment with the standards of the medical device and life sciences industries.
