BGS announce expansion into the US

BGS Beta-Gamma-Service GmbH & Co. KG (BGS), a member of the iia based in Germany, has announced its expansion into the US market.

Trading as BGS US LLC, the company will be headquartered in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. The recently constructed facility is scheduled to go online in mid-2025 and will offer fully automated e-beam irradiation services to the Northeast US, a market with a high concentration of industry-relevant companies. Initially, the focus will be on providing sterilization capacity, particularly for manufacturers of medical devices, pharmaceutical primary packaging materials and biotech products.
