This webinar will explore key aspects of radiation microbiology, including providing general microbiology fundamentals. As radiation sterilization is a bioburden-based method, understanding and controlling product bioburden is essential. The webinar will cover important topics such as the derivation of the Standard Distribution of Resistances and its role in dose establishment methods. In addition, participants will learn about upcoming updates to the ISO radiation standards and the future of microbiology, including rapid microbiological methods.
The webinar will include a live Q&A session and will be recorded for later viewing on the iia website and YouTube channel.
