Sri Lanka – New gamma irradiation facility opens for business

On 17th February the Sri Lankan Government owned Multi-purpose Gamma Irradiation Facility was officially opened by the Minister of Economic Development. This is the second large gamma irradiator in operation in the country, the other one being an in-house facility owned by the rubber gloves manufacturer Ansell.
